Belgian HR Association Attends EAPM Delegates Assembly in Larnaca, Welcomes New Members and Elects New Board Member

Larnaca, Cyprus – [Date] – The European Association for People Management (EAPM) held its annual delegates assembly, hosted by the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association (CyHRMA) in Larnaca. Representing the Belgian Association of HR Professionals (hrpro.be), David Ducheyne, served as vice president alongside EAPM President Berna Oztinaz and esteemed board members Darko Petrovski, Ulrik Brix, Solveiga Grudienė, Raffaele Credidio, and Martina Burulic.

As the premier network and umbrella organization for human resource professionals across Europe, EAPM fosters collaboration and experience-sharing among its 36 member countries. With a mission to promote the HR profession without commercial or political influence, EAPM remains an independent, not-for-profit organization, open to HR associations from across the continent. This year, the assembly celebrated the addition of new member countries—Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Serbia—further expanding EAPM’s reach and influence.

The assembly addressed essential organizational matters, including the election of Kai Saard to succeed Darko Petrovski on the board in the coming year. Martina Burulic was also nominated as the new treasurer. Attendees discussed ongoing progress, with a particular focus on ensuring that EAPM’s initiatives deliver tangible value to its members. "We are building on the foundation laid by past president Even Bolstad to drive greater delivery and representation across Europe," said David Ducheyne.

In parallel, EAPM, as a member of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), participated in the WFPMA board meeting also held in Larnaca.

EAPM extends its gratitude to Elli Matsouka, Vicky Charalambous, Ph.D., and Maria Georgiou for their gracious hosting, and to Rebecca Normand GradCG, Natalia Peel, Tarryn-lee Coetzee, and Valentina Anev for their dedicated preparation and coordination.
